my-shoppingbox.com

Online shopping is becoming a part of life of every Juan. There is already Ebay.ph, Lazada.com.ph, Zalora.com.ph and other online shops that spread throughout the online world.

Unfortunate for use, local online shops has limited list of products that we can buy and most are in low quality. That forces me to look to Amazon to buy tech related products, like ipad pro screen protector, apple watch band, etc.

Still, the problem with shopping in Amazon is the limited number of products for international shipping. Shipping directly to Philippine address is expensive and Amazon will charge for tax higher that the actual tax rate (but excess will be refunded).

I had a chat with my colleague and he recommended that I use my-shoppingbox.com to handle the shipping. I can buy items from Amazon and other US online stores and send them to my my-shoppingbox.com US address. So, I tried...

Here are the steps to be able to use my-shoppingbox.com shipping service:

1. Signup to my-shoppingbox.com to get US or Europe delivery address.

2. Use your my-shoppingbox.com address as delivery address when you shop in online store such as Amazon.com.

I ordered a guitar strings and ipad pro 10.5 Tech Armor glass protector on Amazon.com on February 24, 2018.

The items was delivered to my US address on March 02, 2018 - just 7 days for standard delivery and shipping was free!

3. Wait for the package to be listed in your my-shoppingbox.com account. It will usually take 3-5 days to appear.

My order appeared to my account the next day, i.e. March 03, 2018! That was freakin' fast!

4. Pay shipping to Philippine address. You have a choice to ship the item by air or sea. By air is fast around 7-10 days but expensive (5.99USD/lb). By sea shipping will take around 1 month but cheaper (2.99 USD/lb).

I paid using BDO card and got 10% discount on shipping fee - not bad.

5. Wait for package to arrive to your Philippine address.

So, shop now and enjoy the fruits of your labor - while you still can :-).

Update (14Mar2018)

At last, I received the package today. Shipping took 11 days, 1 day more than what I expected.

Amazon packaging...

The items that I bought, Ipad pro 10.5 Tech Armor glass screen protector and 2 sets of Earthwood guitar strings.

How PSP Revolutionized the Fliptop Community in the Philippines

The Fliptop Battle League, since its inception in 2010, has been the beating heart of Filipino hip-hop culture. It’s a raw, unfiltered arena where words are weapons, wit is currency, and lyrical prowess reigns supreme. But as the league grew, so did the need for evolution. Enter  PSP  (Pilipinas Street Panic), a game-changer that didn’t just enter the scene—it rewrote the rules. PSP didn’t just revolutionize the Fliptop community; it redefined what it meant to be a battle rap league in the Philippines. While Fliptop laid the foundation, PSP built a skyscraper, elevating the culture to new heights. Here’s how: A Platform for the Underdogs Fliptop, with its massive following, became a stage for established names. But PSP opened its doors wider, giving lesser-known emcees a chance to shine. It became a breeding ground for fresh talent, where hidden gems like Poison13, Ruffian, and Zaki emerged. These battlers, once overlooked, found their voices and audiences through PSP, ...

Harry Roque and the POGO Controversy

Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque has landed in hot water over his alleged ties to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), stirring political and legal debates. His name has surfaced in multiple investigations, raising questions about lobbying, legal ethics, and accountability. Lobbying or Legal Representation? Roque’s alleged involvement with Lucky South 99, a POGO firm, sparked controversy when PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco testified that Roque lobbied on its behalf regarding unpaid dues. Roque denied this, claiming he only represented the property lessor, Whirlwind Corporation, not the gaming firm itself. Despite his rebuttals, the issue snowballed into a full-blown congressional probe. Contempt Citations and Legal Troubles Roque was cited for contempt twice by a House panel investigating POGO activities. In August 2024, he was detained for 24 hours after allegedly misleading lawmakers about his absence from a hearing. A month later, he was again held in contempt...
